about

"Angel Number 999 can be a strong suggestion that a phase (or phases) in your life is/are coming to a definite end and you can expect many closures in your life. Fear not as this is preparing you to begin a wonderful new life and lifestyle that will see all fall into place for you in most positive ways." - Joanne Sacred Scribes

This song is about starting over which is what the angelic number 999 represents. Tera Melos is one of the first bands I bonded over when I first met Dylan. When I made this I couldn't here any one else, but him on this track. I told him to write about the number 999 and so he wrote about moving into a new apartment and starting fresh.

lyrics

I am tripping over laces, drunk, with the patience of your love
I bought some shoes online but they don't fit right
We left all the pines taped still to the patient windows of your room
We hope it's clean, safe, and bright when you arrive
The cool kids strafe around our sleepy hollow
You were right to see the whole thing to the end

And it's the end
There's no more problems
There's no more people left to die

I always wondered if you'd be so hollow
And I was right
