PM means afternoon or more commonly associated with night time. However PM also stands for Project M which is the name of a hacked version of Super Smash Brothers Brawl to have the fighting engine of the previous game Super Smash Brothers Melee, preferred for it's speed and better competitive capabilities. My friend Marc is really good at this game so I recorded him button mashing his way to victory. One day I borrowed Matt Hull's loop pedal when we were living together in 2016 and plugged my guitar into it and the guitar part at the end was the first line that I played out of nowhere. I looped it and then hit record. While this was happening I then hit the reverse function and so go the two varied sounds. The reverse is in the beginning and then it goes forward at the end as the song reaches an intense climax. I overlaid some cymbal screeching and Zach added a low bass drone as well. Finally I recorded myself screaming after focusing intently on some of the pain and frustration I was feeling at the time. This track represents just that, pain and anguish.
